Taking delavirdine with Agenerase can make both medications less effective. For this reason, these medications should not be used together.
Dexamethasone may decrease the level of Agenerase in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Check with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
Agenerase oral solution (but not capsules) can decrease the level of didanosine in your blood. Therefore, Agenerase should be taken at least one hour before or after taking didanosine.
Agenerase oral solution (but not capsules) should not be taken with disulfiram, as dangerous reactions may occur.
Efavirenz can lower the level of Agenerase in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your dose of these medications to prevent this interaction from occurring.
Agenerase should not be combined with ergot medications, due to the risk of dangerous side effects.
Fluticasone or Combination Medications That Contain Fluticasone
Agenerase may increase the level of fluticasone in your blood. Check with your healthcare provider before taking these medications together.
Agenerase can make hormonal contraceptives less effective or may increase the risk of certain side effects. You should use a non-hormonal method of contraception (such as condoms) while taking Agenerase. In addition, it should not be combined with certain hormonal contraceptives.
