Who Should Not Take Aptivus?

You should not take Aptivus if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Aptivus, tipranavir, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive components.
     
  • Have moderate to severe liver disease.
     
  • Take any of the medications that should never be taken with Aptivus (see Aptivus Drug Interactions).
     

Aptivus Warnings and Precautions: Final Thoughts

There are a number of situations in which Aptivus should not be taken, as well as several precautions and warnings people should be aware of before starting the medication. However, it is possible that not all of the warnings or precautions were discussed in this article.
