Atripla Dosage

The recommended Atripla dosage for the treatment of HIV and AIDS is 600 mg/200 mg/300 mg, taken once a day on an empty stomach. The medication should be taken at the same time each day to maintain an even level in the blood. It is important that you follow Atripla dosing guidelines carefully; missing doses can increase the chance of HIV developing resistance to drugs.

Atripla Dosage: An Introduction

The dose of Atripla™ (efavirenz, emtricitabine, and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate) that your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on a number of factors, including:
 
  • Other medical conditions you may have
  • Other medications you may be currently taking.
