Who Should Not Take Atripla?

You should not take Atripla if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Atripla, tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, emtricitabine, efavirenz, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive components.
     
  • Take any of the medications that should not be combined with Atripla (see Atripla Drug Interactions).
