Medications That Cause Drowsiness
Taking dronabinol with medications that cause drowsiness might increase your risk of side effects, such as increased drowsiness, confusion, memory loss, or difficulty breathing. Serious reactions may also occur. You should only use these medications together with your healthcare provider's approval and supervision.
Amphetamines, Stimulants, and ADHD Medications
Taking dronabinol with these medications may lead to increased side effects, such as high blood pressure (hypertension), increased heart rate (tachycardia), or heart problems. You should only use these drugs together with your healthcare provider's approval and supervision.
Anticholinergic Medications
Taking anticholinergic medications with dronabinol can increase your risk of side effects, including drowsiness and increased heart rate (tachycardia). You should only use these drugs together with your healthcare provider's approval and supervision.
Barbiturates
Combining dronabinol with barbiturates might increase your risk of side effects, such as drowsiness, confusion, memory loss, or difficulty breathing. Serious reactions may also occur. You should only use these medications together with your healthcare provider's approval and supervision.
