People who have unsuccessfully tried other HIV or AIDS medications may benefit from Isentress™ (raltegravir). This prescription medication is approved only for use with other HIV medications and works by preventing the virus from multiplying. However, Isentress cannot cure HIV or AIDS. It comes in tablet form and is typically taken twice a day.
