What If I Take an Overdose of Lexiva?

In studies, high doses of Lexiva caused an increase in liver enzymes, which can be a sign of liver damage. If you happen to overdose on Lexiva, seek immediate medical attention.

How Should Lexiva Be Stored?

Lexiva should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep both tablets and oral suspension in an airtight container.
 
Keep Lexiva and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Lexiva?

It is very important that you not miss Lexiva doses. If you do not take your Lexiva as scheduled, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are having trouble remembering to take your HIV medications.

Lexiva comes in the following strengths and forms:
 
  • Lexiva 700 mg tablets
  • Lexiva 50 mg per mL oral suspension (comes in one flavor -- grape-bubblegum-peppermint).
     

Is There a Generic Version of Lexiva?
