Who Should Not Take Lexiva?

You should not take Lexiva if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Lexiva, fosamprenavir calcium, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive components.
     
  • Are allergic to amprenavir (Agenerase®), a similar medication.
     
  • Take any of the medications that should never be taken with Lexiva (see Lexiva Drug Interactions).
     

Lexiva Warnings and Precautions: Final Thoughts

There are a number of situations in which Lexiva should not be taken, as well as several precautions and warnings people should be aware of before starting the medication. However, it is possible that not all of the warnings or precautions were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your healthcare provider about the specific Lexiva warnings and precautions that may apply to you.
