AIDS Home > Additional Details on Agenerase

How Should Agenerase Be Stored?

Agenerase should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep both capsules and the oral solution in an airtight container.
Keep Agenerase and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Agenerase?

It is very important that you not miss Agenerase doses. If you do not take your Agenerase as scheduled, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are having trouble remembering to take your HIV medications.

Strengths of Agenerase

Agenerase comes in the following strengths and forms:
  • Agenerase 50 mg capsules
  • Agenerase 15 mg per mL oral suspension (comes in one flavor -- grape-bubblegum-peppermint).

Is There a Generic Version of Agenerase?

Currently, there are no generic versions of Agenerase licensed for sale (see Generic Agenerase).
