Selzentry Dosage

Selzentry dosing guidelines will be based on other medical conditions you have and other medications you are taking. If you are not taking any other medications, the recommended dose is 300 mg twice daily. In order for your Selzentry dosage to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. Missing doses may cause the HIV virus to become resistant to the medication.

Selzentry Dosage: An Introduction

The dose of Selzentry™ (maraviroc) that your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on a number of factors, including:
 
  • Other medical conditions you may have
  • Other medications you may be currently taking.
     
As always, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
 

Selzentry Dosage for HIV or AIDS

The recommended dose of Selzentry for treating adults with HIV or AIDS depends on other medications you are currently taking. If you are not taking any of the medications discussed in this article, the usual recommended dose is Selzentry 300 mg twice daily.
 
The recommended dose is lower (Selzentry 150 mg twice daily) if you are taking any of the following medications:
 
 
 
The dose is higher (Selzentry 600 mg twice daily) if you are not taking any of the previously discussed medications but are taking any of the following medications:
