Selzentry Drug Interactions

When certain medications are taken with Selzentry, drug interactions may occur. These interactions can alter the amount of Selzentry in your blood. As a result, your healthcare provider may need to increase or decrease your Selzentry dosage. Some of the medications that may cause drug interactions with Selzentry include certain antibiotics, most protease inhibitors, and some seizure medications.

 

Selzentry Drug Interactions: An Overview

Selzentry™ (maraviroc) can potentially interact with several other medicines. Some of the medicines that may lead to Selzentry drug interactions include:
 
  • Certain antibiotics or antifungals, such as:
 
    • Clarithromycin (Biaxin®)
    • Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
    • Ketoconazole (Nizoral®)
    • Telithromycin (Ketek®)
