Drug Interactions With Selzentry

Selzentry can potentially interact with a few other medications (see Selzentry Drug Interactions).
 

Selzentry: What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking Selzentry if you have:
 
  • Liver disease, such as liver failure, cirrhosis, or hepatitis
  • Kidney disease, including kidney failure (renal failure)
  • Heart disease or any other heart problems
  • Low blood pressure (hypotension)
  • Any allergies, including allergies to food, dyes, or preservatives.
     
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you are:
 
Make sure to tell your healthcare provider about any other medicines you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

What If I Take an Overdose of Selzentry?

It is not known exactly what to expect from an overdose of Selzentry. In animal studies, high doses of the drug increased the risk of an irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia). If you happen to take too much Selzentry, seek immediate medical attention.
