What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Truvada?
It is very important that you not miss Truvada doses. If you do not take your Truvada as scheduled, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are having trouble remembering to take your
HIV medications.
Truvada tablets come in one strength -- Truvada 200 mg/300 mg tablets, which contain 200 mg of
emtricitabine and 300 mg of
tenofovir per tablet.
Is There a Generic Version of Truvada?
Currently, there are no generic versions of Truvada licensed for sale
