What If I Overdose on Viracept?

Viracept: Storage Methods

Viracept should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep Viracept tablets and powder in the original container.
 
Keep Viracept and all other medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose of Viracept?

It is very important that you do not miss Viracept doses. If you do not take your Viracept as scheduled, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are having trouble remembering to take your HIV medications.
 

Viracept Strengths

Viracept comes in the following strengths and forms:
 
  • Viracept 250 mg tablets
  • Viracept 625 mg tablets
  • Viracept oral powder, containing 50 mg of Viracept per gram (per scoopful).
     

Is There a Generic Version of Viracept?

Currently, there are no generic versions of Viracept licensed for sale (see Generic Viracept).
