Viread Drug Interactions

Acyclovir, atazanavir, and certain protease inhibitors may interact with Viread. Drug interactions such as these can interfere with the kidneys' ability to remove Viread from the blood, which could increase the blood levels of the drug and increase your risk of developing side effects. Other medications that may cause negative Viread drug interactions include ganciclovir, adefovir, and valacyclovir.
