Zerit Drug Interactions

Didanosine and interferon medications are among the drugs that may potentially interact with Zerit. Some of these Zerit drug interactions may increase your risk of potentially dangerous conditions (such as liver damage and pancreatitis) or make Zerit less effective. To avoid these complications, be sure to talk with your healthcare provider about any drug interactions with Zerit that may apply to you.

 

Zerit Drug Interactions: An Introduction

Zerit® (stavudine) can potentially interact with a few other medicines. Some of these medicines that may lead to Zerit interactions include:
 

 

    • Interferon alfa-2a (Roferon®-A)
    • Interferon alfa-2b (Intron® A)
    • Interferon alfa-2b and ribavirin (Rebetron®)
    • Interferon alfa-n3 (Alferon® N)
    • Interferon alfacon-1 (Infergen®)
    • Interferon beta-1a (Avonex®, Rebif®)
    • Interferon beta-1b (Betaseron®)
    • Interferon gamma-1b (Actimmune®)
    • Peginterferon alfa-2a (Pegasys®)
    • Peginterferon alfa-2b (PEG-Intron®
